Employment Opportunity: Town Clerk/Treasurer
The Town of Phelps is accepting applications for the appointed position of Town Clerk/Treasurer. Town residency is preferred but not required. The selected candidate will be appointed by the Town Board at a properly noticed meeting after accepting an offer of employment.

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE - WEST SHORE ROAD
Beginning on Monday, October 19, 2026, construction will begin on West Shore Road to replace the culverts at the headwaters of the Wisconsin River located approximately .28 miles north of CTH E. The road will be closed to thru-traffic for approximately 5 to 6 weeks but may take up to 60 days. Detour signs are posted for an alternate route.
Proclamation by Town Chairman, Steve Doyen proclaiming November 2026 as "Wild Game Meat Donation Month". Chairman Doyen encourages all hunters to donate surplus wild game as private acts of generosity or through organized programs like the Wisconsin DNR's Deer Donation Program and ask all to financially support local donation efforts as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and the season of giving.
